SPAQuE, leader of the European RAWFILL project !


The "RAWFILL" project, presented as part of the European programme of interregional cooperation, INTERREG North-West Europe, has been officially approved. This project, which aims to develop a circular economy based approach to materials found in landfill sites, is coordinated by SPAQuE.

SPAQuE installs 3,844 solar panels at the SAFEA site in La Louvière


SPAQuE has begun work on its very first solar power plant at the rehabilitated SAFEA site in Houdeng-Goegnies, La Louvière. A total of 3,844 solar panels will be installed on the site’s former dump.

INTERREG : SPAQuE’s "RAWFILL" project is on track.


The "RAWFILL" project has made it through the first selection round of the INTERREG North-West Europe 2014-2020 programme. The aim of the project – led by SPAQuE and involving public and private partners from Belgium, the UK, France and Germany – is to develop a specific methodology to assess the economic potential of waste dumps. The next stage in the process is to submit a detailed description of the project, for examination at the end of June.
